17. Ceramic Fiber Blanket:
Front and rear smokebox and doors are lined with space-age ceramic fiber blanket.
16. Tubes:
Efficient, economical 3 pass tube design for optimum efficiency and economical operation.
15. Galvanized Coated Steel Jacket:
A 500 degree Fahrenheit acrylic silicone based paint finish is applied to the 22-gauge phosphate galvanized coated steel jacket.
14. Insulation:
Two inch 8-lb. density mineral fiber insulation with an R factor of .27 which reduces heat loss through the jacket and provides jacket support.
13. Rear Davit Arm:
Roller-bearing supported davit makes possible a reduced opening space and can be arranged for left or right hand opening.
12. Front/Rear Door Gasket:
Front/rear door gaskets are made of ceramic fiber for long life.
11. Furnace:
Furnaces for Section 1 (high pressure boilers) 24’’ diameter and larger are of Morison corrugation design.
