Davited Doors: Davited doors allow for total access to the return tubes without interference of baffles or inner doors.

Waterside access is provided by (2) 3” x 4” handholes located in front tubesheet near the bottom of the shell in addition to (2) handholes on the bottom centerline. (1) 3” x 4” handhole or (1) 12” x 16” manway on the top centerline and (1) 3” x 4” handhole in the rear tubesheet.	All Superior Boiler Works Mohican Boiler/Burner units are manufactured to ASME code requirements with each unit inspected by a National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessels registered inspector.	Demand 3/4” thick tubesheets and 9/l6” minimum tube hole ligament to decrease the possibilities of ligament cracks, warped and overheated tubesheet and better tube holding capabilities.

Full Front Tubesheet access is provided by split/davited doors. No electrical or fuel connections or linkage need be disconnected for access to the fireside. Front smokebox and doors are lined with ceramic fiber blanket.	Mohican's 4-pass design maintains gas velocities for effective heat transfer with moderate gas side pressure drops resulting in efficient gas to water heat transfer and reduced blower motor loads.	Hot water boilers reducing return nozzle provides increased return water velocity and aids natural internal water circulation.

Large full Wetback turnaround eliminates refractory baffles and gaskets.	Steam boilers _ large disengaging area and dry plate (high pressure) or dry pan (low pressure) at the steam outlet assures high quality, dry steam.	Mohican Boiler/Burner units are factory firetested to check electrical components for proper operation and adjustment of the fuel/air ratio for smooth ignition and firing.
