BOM & Production Control Coordinator
Description
Coordinates workflow within the various departments to expedite production. Process and input all new orders as they are received from Bill of Materials (BOM) Department.
Technical Skills
• Create accurate Bill of Materials, making corrections and assigning part numbers when required
• Process work orders as they are generated
• Set up new work orders for manufactured assemblies, subparts of assemblies & input orders for labor capture
• Print the boiler pick list from shop floor & distribute work orders to the shop by department
• Strong understanding of physical inventory, accounting, and ERP systems
• Able to organize and prioritize work to be completed
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and/or related applications
• Must have full use of both hands and feet, ability to grasp, stoop, squat, climb or perform duties with reasonable accommodation in both manufacturing and office environments
Shipping & Receiving Associate
Description
Works closely with the Logistics Manager to anticipate and prepare for incoming and outbound shipments. Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom. Responsible for keeping inventory accurate and quantities on hand updated. Package and ship large and unusually shaped equipment and parts.
Technical Skills
• Prepare and help load boilers and other large equipment for shipment, building custom crates when needed
• Handle supporting paperwork and data entry for these activities
• Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts
• Able to count, sort, organize, and work with numbers
• Basic carpentry skills, must be able to read and understand a tape measure, proficient with use of power tools (saws, drills, drivers, etc.)
• Able to organize and prioritize work to be completed

Production Lead
Description
Supervise, direct, and assist all personnel at fin tube welder, tube bender, and small parts area in their daily operations. Oversee and adjust the use of personnel, materials and equipment to maintain optimum throughput as well as making an individual contribution to production.
Technical Skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Strong working knowledge of welding and manufacturing
• Able to lead, supervise, and relate to subordinates and coworkers, resolving conflicts when they arise
• Coordinate and execute production activities, with peers and subordinates, to maintain positive product flow through the shop
• Train, equip, and motivate production personnel to achieve weekly throughput goals
• Maintain high standards relating to quality and accuracy and provide for or perform training as needed
Welder
Description
Welders will fabricate components as required for the manufacturing of boilers and other boiler room equipment. Strive to meet quality standards and are motivated towards continuous skill improvement (obtaining WPS codes as needed) and increasing knowledge of our product and manufacturing process.
Technical Skills
• Welding of carbon steel plate under prescribed conditions
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing and capable of following written and/or verbal instructions
• Work with grinders, stick or MIG welders and other tools as required
• Read and understand blueprints and welding symbols
• Have knowledge of all aspects welding in the department
• Must be able to complete all tasks in said department to meet quality standards and in the standard time allowed
• Follow all safety requirements
• Prompt, dependable and reliable in work attendance
• Perform other related duties as required
Painter
Description
Clean, prepare and paint boilers and parts. Mix all paint products and perform functions with little or no supervision. Superior Painters produce a quality finish that is visually pleasing and protects our manufactured equipment from the harsh environments it will be operating in.
Technical Skills
• Thoroughly clean and inspect parts before painting.
• Mask off areas not to be painted.
• Application of paint to boilers to produce a quality finish.
• Results oriented while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capable of measuring, mixing, and spraying all products used.
• Maintain a clean work area and keep all equipment clean and in good working order.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform and document routine maintenance on paint booth and paint equipment.
Burner & Controls Technician
Description
Primary technician responsible for the mounting, wiring, and testing of burners and related controls. Assists with matters concerning other electronic components of manufactured boiler room equipment. Works on own with minimal supervision.
Technical Skills
• Minimum 3 years field experience as a burner technician and/or commisioning of boilers for service
• Able to check-in burners and related controls when shipments are received by Superior Boiler, ensuring all components are present
• Assist with coordination of mounting and wiring of burners and related controls
• In-house testing of boilers and burners, recording data, and reporting performance metrics
• Adjustment of burners to meet performance requirements
• Testing and check-out of other ancillary boiler room equipment
Boilermaker
Description
General assembly of Boiler components including but not limited to tubing, insulation, refractory, pipefittings, valves, and gauges. Perform assembly functions within the allotted time standards.
Technical Skills
• Run air/power hand tools and standard hand tools\Attach electrical wiring and shielded cable as required
• Read and understand wiring schematics and piping layout
• Cutting and threading of pipe
• Ensure that parts are assembled on boiler per instructions for proper appearance and function
• Read and interpret shop orders
• Must be capable of training other employees in said department
• Function with minimal amount of supervision
• Able to reproduce all operations within acceptable quality guidelines
• Prompt, dependable and reliable in work attendance
• Perform other related duties as required
